Shuttle service between hotel and workshop venue
Courtesy of Wyndham Hotel, a shuttle service between the hotel and the workshop venue will be provided. The current schedule is as follows:
Hotel -> Rice :: each morning at 8:15am
Rice -> Hotel :: Wed/Thur at 5:30pm and on Fri at 3:30pm

Breakfast/Coffee/Lunch - Dinner
Every day between 8h30 - 9h00am we will provide a light breakfast options.
Coffee breaks are at 10h30am and around 3h pm.
We break for lunch between noon and 1h30pm. Several lunch options exist on the Rice campus as well as on a short walk in the Rice Village.
During our workshop we will provide some more suggestions for your evening dinner plans. Stay tuned!

Block reservation at the Wyndham Hotel
The hotel block reservation is official. For those that have attended the STAR workshop at Rice last year, nothing really changed in terms of the location of the hotel. It's in the Medical Center and very close to the Rice campus.
What did change is the name of the hotel: it changed ownership and is now called the Wyndham Houston Hotel instead of Holiday Inn. And, while the month of November should bring pleasant weather allowing the for a ~15-20' walk, courtesy shuttles still run between the hotel and the Rice campus.
Registration form up & running
The registration form is up and running. Please use it at your earliest convenience. If you made a mistake and are unable to correct, no worries: just let me know and I'll help fix it.
Invitation letters
Especially for our international collaborators, please email me (Frank Geurts) if you need an invitation letter. It is important you do so early considering the the usual 6-8 weeks that some visa handling can take.
